This item is a selective translation of "1 Division mobilization plan orders" dated 26 October 1943 and a full translation of "1 Division mobilization plan orders, 1944", dated 4 January 1944. Both items were issued by 1st Division Headquarters. The first part of this item covers the responsibilities of various officers and subordinate forces; assignment and distribution of men, provisions, requisitions; and the disposition of men, horses and supplies not included in mobilisation. The second part includes tactical and administrative organisation, mobilisation codes and symbols, assignment and distribution of personnel and horses, war materiel and transport. It also contains charts on organisation of mobilised forces, emergency organisation, distribution of personnel, vehicles, horses, supplies and equipment, wartime regulations, and the assignment of home duty among mobilised forces.
