Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) combined interrogation report for three Japanese prisoners of war. JA147578 was a Leading Seaman of the 88th Naval Guard Unit. JA147639 was a Warrant Officer of the 88th Naval Guard Unit, and JA148003 was a civilian employee of the 8th Naval Development Unit. JA147578 and JA147639 were captured in Manus Island on 4 and 5 May 1944 respectively and JA148003 was captured at Depapre on 15 or 16 May 1944. During the interrogation, they provided information on naval ships and unit movements.
