Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 1st Class Private M156 of the 55th Division 55th Transport Regiment, who was captured in Giruwa on 13 February 1943. M156, a 26 year old 1st Class Private from Ehime, surrendered to American troops while he was retreating towards the Kumusi River. He was a truck driver in the unit. During the interrogation, M156 provided information on his unit organisation, transportation, and morale. He spoke candidly about his feelings about captured and about Allied propaganda leaflets.
