Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Takloban on 25 October 1944 during the US campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item contains shipping records kept by the Takloban Military Police Section covering the period 3 January to 9 September 1944. It records ship name, captain, tonnage, passengers, freight, ports of embarkation and debarkation and shipping authority of vessels sailing in Philippine waters. Miscellaneous notes are also included, two of which refer to attacks on ships by "bandits". |
