Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147757 of the 12th Transport Flying Squadron, who was captured near Demta (near Hollandia) on 30 April 1944. JA147757, a 22 year old 1st Class Private from Karafuto (Sakhalin), was captured by US troops while asleep. During the interrogation, JA147757 provided information on the organisation and duties of the 12th Transport Flying Squadron, number of type of aircraft assigned to the 11th Transport Flying Squadron and the 6th Air Training Unit (N79 Force). The appendix includes an organisational chart of the 12th Transport Flying Squadron and 6th Air Training Unit. |
