Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue covers events such as the Empress' Birthday, the Dolls' Festival, the concerns about the war among Japanese citizens, the death of KOKUBU Seigai and the defeats of the Japanese in the South and Central Pacific. It also discusses the shipping problem of Japan and the situation in Burma. The recent war situation in Europe is also mentioned. 100,000 of them were printed. |
