|Content:||This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Woodpecker Ridge, Rizal, Luzon, on 23 May 1945 during the Allied campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is a selective translation of a file entitled "File of cave construction plans" held and presumably drawn by Ito Force. (One diagram is dated 3 March 1945) It contains diagrams and specifications of a battalion command posts, ration dump, wireless communication trench, first aid station, protected quarters for troops, a Moko ("fierce tiger") cave, a Rekka ("fierce fire") cave, regimental gun platoon position an a battalion gun position.|
