Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Pinamopoan on 10 November 1944 during the US campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is a pamphlet with handwritten charts and sketches entitled "Dengue fever preventative inoculation" by Captain (medical) NAGAOKA for the period 23 March to 28 October 1942. This report is based on two years of observation of dengue fever cases in the Philippines and a study of the reinfection condition of 282 dengue fever patients over a period of one year. This item also includes the descriptions of 13 experiments with hypodermic inoculations of dilute solutions of blood taken from dengue fever patients, with charts and graphs of the results.
