Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The message encourages the Japanese troops in the Puriata and Hongorai Rivers area to surrender so that they can contribute to the post-war reconstruction of Japan. It includes a simplified map of the area which indicates how to approach the Australian position to surrender. |
