Content: | This item is an English propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. A Japanese text is attached, but the content does not correspond to the English text and the Japanese content is identical to JM29. The message states that Aitape is cut off from supplies as the closest airfield is located 1300 kilometers away in Halmaheras. It urges the Japanese soldiers to stop fighting the unwinnable war and to surrender. |
