Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Hollandia (Jayapura) on 27 April 1944 during the Allied attacks on Japanese positions in northern Dutch New Guinea, which were intended to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item is an extract from an ordnance document entitled "Table of quality, volume and weight of ammunition in ammunition box", dated August 1943 and held by Capt SHIMIZU, Mo 2688 Force (27th Field Ordnance Depot Branch at Matupi).
