|Content:||This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured in Central Luzon between 1 and 9 April 1945 during the Allied campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is a printed combat lessons special report no. 30 entitled " Air defense combat lessons based on combat during second air attack on northern Kyushu", issued on 31 July 1944 by Army Department, Imperial General Headquarters. It describes an air raid by Allied forces on 8 July 1944 and outlines air defence preparations, combat tactics of Allied aircraft, losses and expenditure of ammunition, interception tactics, combat by ground air defence forces and cooperation with neighbouring armies.|
