Content: | This item is a propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. A Japanese original is missing. In this statement, the Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces in Tarakan urges Japanese Commanders to let injured servicemen receive medical treatment. The Allied Forces nominate Lt Cdr YAMAGATA to meet their own medical officer at 12:00 hours on 5 June 1945 at Hill 105. It gives instruction for one medical officer and one man to wear white brassards, to carry a large white flag and be unarmed. |
