Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. The leaflet reports the surrender of Germany, which allows the Allied Forces to deploy a massive number of planes and battleships from Europe to Asia. The message also details the losses suffered recently by the Japanese forces on Bougainville, in particular in Tarlena and near the Puriaka and Hongorai Rivers. It urges the Japanese troops on Bougainville to surrender now so that they can contribute to the reconstruction of Japan after her inevitable defeat. |
