Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Mission Point on 18 September 1943 during the Japanese withdrawal from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. This item contains rules and regulations for Kokopo Sector in the Rabaul area issued by the Kokopo Sector Security Unit on 23 January 1943. It contains information on units garrisoned in Kokopo sector and rules for the security of installations, including the deployment of troops, efforts to minimise bomb damage and rules concerning the movement of local people in the area. |
