Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Manila on 29 June 1944 during the US campaign to recapture the Philippines. This item is a pamphlet entitled "Gas training reference for Battalion Warrant Officers and Sergeants Major", issued on 22 November 1941 by 1st Lieutenant KUDO, Nagashima Force. This item contains a schedule for a one-day training course in chemical warfare, the duties of the gas officer and decontamination unit during marches, directions for wearing a protective cape and sketches showing use the tactical use of gas.
