Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for 1st Class Private JA147132 of the 1st Independent Mixed Regiment, who was captured off Pak Island in the Admiralty Islands on 16 March 1944. JA147132, a 25 year old 1st Class Private from Ibaraki, was in a canoe on the way to Tong Island when he and his companions were intercepted and captured by US troops. During the interrogation, JA147132 provided information on unit organisation, movement, conditions in Japan and defence in Pak Island |
