Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports the intensifying bombing of mainland Japan, the continued fighting in Okinawa and the situation on Tarakan. 120,000 of them were printed. 60,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Darwin, 32,000 to Torokina and 30,000 to Lae. All the dispatchments were made on 28 May 1945. |
