Content: | This item is a so-called surrender leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. The message stresses that it is of more benefit to Japan if the Japanese troops surrender now so as to live and to assist with the rebuilding of Japan. An English translation of the text is attached. The English translation (original) has sentences which are not in the Japanese text. |
