Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda news bulletin produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports the advance of the Russian troops into Berlin, the attack on Naha, Okinawa, the air attack on Tokyo, the bombing of Kyûshû, the blockade of the China Seas, and the recapture of Chauk, an important oil field in Burma, by the British forces. 100,000 of them were printed. 20,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Darwin on 30 April 1945, 53,500 to Lae on 2 May 1945, 30,000 to Torokina on 2 May 1945. |
