Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The message states that the New Guinea campaign has resulted in a total failure due to the blunders of the Japanese General Staff, and soldiers in New Guinea have been abandoned. It urges Japanese soldiers to surrender with this leaflet in hand. 500 of them were printed. |
