| Content: | This item is a military postal savings book issued to ETÔ Yukiharu. The front cover contains columns for account number, the agency responsible for the original register, remarks, address and name. The back cover shows a list of instructions. The savings book was issued by the Shimonoseki branch of the Postal Savings Department. The unit name written in the address space indicates ETÔ belonged to part of the 86th Airfield Company (Yô 9875 Unit). The rest of the savings book consists of columns for transaction records. The transactions occurred between on 19 July 1943 and 21 February 1944. This item was captured at Korako on 24 April 1944. |
